Hay, i remember the days...
Pero once in a while nakakatuwa at sumasagot din sila Vic at Jerry.
Sabi niya, "oh yeah DVDs! I watch DVDs when I'm at home."
Sana bumalik ulit sila dito sa Philippines as a group.

From Cinemalaya to the MYX encounter
(be afraid, be very afraid!)
I have tons of paper to do that is why I am doing this fast. Maybe my next entry will be on Wednesday or next weekend na. My schedule's really hectic and I have lots of things to accomplish. Theres the Film 10 paper on Run Lola Run due this Tue; the C140 Mid-term "short" paper (5-6 pages long) about a campaign thing due also on Tue; CRes 101 Midterm Exams this Thursday; and field work for the CRes Dept. Extension Project this coming weekend.
Whew!
*****
The MYX Encounter
Raine, Rej, and I while waiting in line for FI to open saw the crew of MYX going around the area. Raine was excited and was thinking of a second 'guest appearance' after her interview at SC. The crew asked the girl in dreadlocks a few steps from us to say something infront of the cam. She refused to do so so the crew went on to look for other guys willing to do it. Then they went to our direction and asked me. I was hesitant but the girl said "Sayang naman ang necklace mo!" (see i was wearing my colorful beaded necklace then).
Her statement really made me laugh so I said "Why not?!" So there a few seconds later I was in front of the camera saying
MYX SPACE, VOTE SPACE, TITLE OF THE SONG
a couple of times. They made me do two slow versions and two fast ones.
Hahaha... that's another TV encounter for me!!! (Alpha nauungusan na kita!) :P
*****
Cinemalaya and the Barok Gang!
Rej, Raine and I watched Saan Nagtatago si Happiness? last Thursday afternoon at UPFI (where else?) We had Jamie our Film 10 classmate with us. Again, it was eating time for us. We just had our lunch but the moment we entered the cinema we ate and ate and ate until we where so full but still we wanted to eat more. I also saw Ses with her blockmates. I wonder if they skipped classes like me?!
Well the movie was okay. I wasn't that moved unlike the first movie we watched. It has plenty of song numbers and they're original mind you! It stars Andy Bais, who was also there during the screening, and Mica Torre (Bencho in Bituing Walang Ningning). Darling Lavina was also in the movie the "sexy-daw-eh-ang-taba-naman" actress.
We also got to watch a short film entry entitle 10:25 ng Gabi after the show. While watching the film, KC text Raine that *tooot tooot tooot* (gayahin na natin si Raine na ayaw pangalanan si Chubiboy) was at the isawan sa Ilang. Raine went gaga but we had to finish the film first. They tried (Rej and Raine) to see him but to no avail. He was already gone. Don't worry Raine hindi pa panahon. :]
Last Tuesday, we (Rej, Raine, Anjo, Baj, Jack and I) watched Tulad ng Dati, the winner for best picture in this year's festival. It stars The Dawn, Agot Isidro and Ping Medina as Teddy Diaz. Ganda sobra! Lots of singing and insert videos. =Goosebumps= Kamukha talaga ni Jett si Sweet! .lol.
Grabe, the whole FI was full. Even students from other schools went to watch.
Siyempre kainan ulit. After the show Anjo and Baj still watched the next one In Da Red Korner. It stars Meryl Soriano naman. Hindi ko feel iyon from the moment I read the synopsis. It was like Million Dollar Baby kasi.
Anyway here are the bloopers/ ka-barokan of our gang:
Angelo: 5 foot
This is an update to our conversation of Raine about the original float makers.
Raine and Lucha: bwahahahahahaahaha.....
Rej: Ano ba?
Lucha: baka RTW (Ready To Wear)
Rej: Bakit ano ba iyong kay Lucha?
Raine: Sabi ni Lucha B&W.
Rej: hahahaha... eh ano ba?
Raine: Dapat A&W!
*****
Run Lola Run
This is such a wonderful film. Grabe riveting siya! Worthy to be considered as a classic and to be included in the book 501 Movies to Watch (My fave book sa CMC lib!) It stars Franka Potente at basta sobrang ganda! Swear!
Just watch it!

Ayoko talaga ng sarsi or rootbeer.
Raine: Di ba A&W?
Ako: Ay oo nga! (laughter moments!!!)
:: Nakasakay kami ni Raine sa bus. Pauwi na galing ng Power Up...
Ako: Sinong kumanta niyan? [pertaining to the song on the radio]
Raine: Iyong sabon.
Raine: Ay Soapdish pala!!!
:: Narito pa ang ilan...
Raine and I: ...
Hay...

my GARDAN angel
Hay...
Huwaw!!!
Oh Gardan Angel where are you?!

thy beautiful hands
My blockmate Kay e-mailed this to me. I was amazed that is why I am posting it. Try it, it's really cool!!!
Why wedding ring should be put on the fourth finger?
Please follow the steps below.
First, bend the center fingers and put them together, back to back.
Second, rest the other four fingers to their opposites, tip to tip.
Try to open your thumbs. The thumbs represent parents. They can be opened because all humans will die someday. Our parents will also leave us when their time comes.
Please close up your thumbs, then open your second fingers. The fingers represent brothers and sisters They will have their own families. They will leave us too.
Now close up your second fingers, then open up your little fingers. They represent your children. Sooner or later, they too will leave us.
Nevertheless, close up your little finger. Try to open your fourth fingers, where we put our wedding ring; you will be surprise to find that it cannot be opened at all. Because it represents husband and wife, you will be attached to each other your whole life.

Katatawanan sa Classroom
Katatawanan sa Classroom
PART I
Fantastic talaga ang UP.
"Valley parking"
Naloka naman daw kami ni Raine nang mabasa sa powerpoint presentation and "valley" instead of "valet." I wonder if others noticed it too. Just imagine you'll park your chevy sa "patag na lupa sa pagitan ng mga bundok." Parang you'd rather commute na lang kaysa nman 10 years ang abutin para mai-park at makabalik sa iyo ang carrooo mo. Uubusin pa ang gas mo!!!
"Ezzay"
For more info about Sergio, hanapin niyo na alng sa archives ko ang past entry ko about our trip to QC Hall.
ezzay --> easy essay (joke!)
"We has to persuase her. Not only her but the audiences as well. Sorry if my terms are too technical."
Thank you Angelo for texting me this one na nagmula originally sa mapanuring pag-iisp ni Toni. Thank you Raine for correcting the whole sentence.
Need I say more about the statement?!
Medyo distracting kasi eh! :]

ROTONDA
by: Ron Bryant
Beginning at the break of dawn and ending the next morning, the story, set around a rugged city intersection, follows the path of a marked one-thousand-peso bill as it transfers from one character to another, returning to its originator in the end, blood-tainted. The money leads us to each of the five offbeat characters, all in desperate need of their soul’s redemption: a disillusioned tabloid reporter planning to commit suicide in a motel, a nightclub dancer con prostitute who has avowed to give her kid sister a better life, a fallen henchman resurfacing to score big time, a chronic runaway teenage girl held captive as sex slave by a cop, and a long-suffering son bearing a sadomasochistic relationship with his brutish, half-paralyzed father who behaves like a mad dictator in his wheelchair. Like a ticking time bomb, the story unravels with unforgiving immediacy and explodes in the end with a tabloid front-pager triple homicide where death seems to have come full circle.

crocs
