You might be wondering why sometimes I don't have an entry, then the next time you check on my site, you'll see that I have posted something naman pala.
Well I am really busy these days so I don't have much time to go online and make an entry. I just write some of my stuff in a notebook and transfer it to the computer whenever I have spare time.
So there, don't be surprised if ever I'll have some posts on a certain day na sobrang tagal na okay. Just read what I write. No more violent reactions aight?!

the powerpuff girls
My mom and I went to a party last Saturday. Siyempre napilitan lang akong sumama. It was the debut of her best friend's daughter. Siyempre sosyal ang drama ng debut. They're from the States talaga. Pero for some reason, their children decided to stay here in the Phil. to give it a try. So ayun, 2nd year student ngaun si debutant sa UST taking Pharmacy.
Medyo hindi talaga ako mahilig sa mga party. hindi naman sa anti-social ako pero wala lang talaga ako sa mood that time. And besides, sino naman ang kakausapin ko doon. Well kilala naman ako ng mommy ng celebrant pero siyempre hindi naman ako ganoon ka-special para ako lang ang i-entertain niya hindi ba. I doubt nga rin kung kilala ako nung celebrant. I met her once pa lang, when we went to their flat. But of course, the usual hi-hello lang.
Pero no choice pa rin. Kailangan kong samahan si mama. Siyempre problema ko pa kung ano ang isusuot ko. Eh hindi nga ako mahilig sa mga ganoon, meaning wala rin akong isusuot. Good thing open for consumption naman ang closet ng sis ko. So wardrobe, check!
Eh paano naman ang hair and make-up. Siyempre open din for services ang sis ko so siya na ang bahala sa lahat. Buti na lang reliable pa rin ang plantsa ko sa hair. So hair and make-up, check!
Okay, so ready na ako. So go na kami sa Heritage Hotel.
Well for some reason may hindi pagkakaunawaan ang mag-best friend. Sabi 6pm ang start. Well when we got there, dear 7 pa pala. So di ba parang sobrang atat naman kami. Kainis talaga.
Anyway, hindi na ako magdedetalye kung gaano kaganda at kabongga ang party. As expected wala akong kausap. So na-activate na lang ang okray powers ko. At infairness, nag-enjoy ako sa pang-o-okray dahil nakakatawa talaga ang ibang bisita.
Ang pinaka nakapagpaligaya ng gabi ko ay ang powerpuff girls. It doesn't mean na tatlo lang sila. Basta gusto ko lang na ppg ang ipangalan sa kanila. So okay, lets begin.
There was this bunch of people from the province. The parents kasi of the celebrant invited their relatives and friends from the province. So there, isang table sila na mga malalayong kamag-anak ng father ni bday girl. Well, how I wish na sana naging creative naman sila sa outfits nila. Well it doesn't mean naman na sosyal ang venue ay kailangang may uniform sila hindi ba. Well from the same family lang ang mga colors ng gowns nila. By the way, kung walang maisuot pwedeng mag-pants. Either orange or red lang. eh hindi naman sila kaputian. naku day kitang-kita ang contrast!!! Nakakaloka talaga.
Imagine this, they were gathered sa isang part of the room. Imagine how stiking that part of the room was!!!
Well hindi lang damit ang na-okray ko sa kanila. Pati ang hair. Kailangan ba talaga one sided lang ang hair. Kaloka. parang may ibon na nakasabit sa gilid ng ulo nung isa sa kanila. If only I brought our cam. Sana you would be able to see how funny it went.
At hindi pa nagtatapos ang lahat doon. Pati ang manners kapatid, my god, nakakaloka. Tama bang makipag-unahan sa akin sa pagkuha ng food. Pati sa pagkuha ng butterflies tama bang makipagkarera pa sa iba. My, swear nakakaloka talaga. If only I had brought a pen I would have described them more in detail.
Hay, how funny talaga ang gabing iyon. Siyempre umuwi akong pagod kahit wala naman akong ginawa doon except manglait. hahaha...

isa pang week
Well I guess I've been updating in a weekly basis so I'll just make this one short.
- Successful ang pagpre-prerog ko sa Sportclimbing. Miss Cuerdo was so kind to take us in. Wagi rin si Raine. Goodbye Caces for us.
- The dean of the College of Science was our guest speaker sa Physics 10. I enjoyed his class talaga. Nakakatuwa siya magsalita. May twang.
- Required na kaming kumuha ng reading fors Geog 1. Like ang kapal kapal kaya nun. goodluck naman. GE siya ha pero sobrang demanding na subject.
- In J 101, Sir Teodorks made us choose three topics we are willing to do for our investigative reports. Then sa class, he looked through them and helped us decide which will be our pinaka-topic.
- Finally met Ma'am Cantor. Nakakatuwa siya. I think mag-eenjoy ako sa class niya. She made us watch Natural Born Killers. Sobrang weird and gory nung film. Eh Quentin Tarantino ba anman kapatid.
- Nag-brainstorm kami sa CRes 101 for our class project. So far, so good naman ang mga proposals. Siyempre si Anjo lutang na naman with his Kris Aquino topic.
- Inamag na ako sa Comm 140 hindi pa rin tapos ang class. Hay, ang boring niya. So sobrang tagal ng oras for all of us. Medyo magulo pa iyong flor ng discussion.
Ang daming readings. Grabe sana may social life pa ako nito. Pano na ang mga films na pinapangarap kong mapanood sa movie house. Wahhh... wala na atang pag-asa...

Sophie na ako!
I haven't posted for a week now. My schedule's just too tight, I can't even watch TV late at night (well, there's nothing to watch anyway).
Okay, so let me just make a summary of my first week as a Sophie.
GEOG 1I crammed on my way to school. It's a 7:00 class so I really have to wake up early. Since its my first time to have a class this early, I really had a hard time.
I planned to change the schedule of this subject but failed. I guess I just have to stick with it. That means morning discipline for me.
J 101My most anticipated class. I really am thankful that I got a slot in Prof. Luis Teodoro's class. He's the former dean of CMC, so he's kinda old (the new dean is Ma'am Pernia from CRes). But I love his class. He tells stories which are sometimes far from the main topic. He'll finish 10 minutes later and ask us why he's been discussing all those things. He is so funny and so cute. You'll want him as your lolo. :]

CRes 101This is it, my first CRes subject ever! Am I ready? I'm still thinking about it. Our Prof. is Ma'am Umali. Well, I don't really have anything to say about her. She dismissed us early after finishing her introduction to the course.
Blockies: This class is exclusive to CRes students so Block K3 is complete.

Well, what can I say about her? (yikes, parang sa testimonials)
I am sure you have heard accounts of how strict she is as an instructor. Well she really is strict. But somehow, in her manner of speaking, I can sense some kindness in her. Well, I don't knowif I was just too amiable-looking at that time so everything seemed pretty to me. Well honestly, I think it did.
Anyway, she told us that we have until Monday to decide whether we will continue our PE under her. So Raine and I tried our luck in Streetdance. Sadly, Jerome didn't take us in coz his class is full already. Guess we'll just have to try Sportclimbing on Monday. I wish we will succeed.

Physics 10My Physics instructor doesn't have a Ph.D. unlike the other lecturers. I think it's okay considering the fact that because some of them are "doctors" already, they might give difficult exams. an I wish Arciaga won't.
Well Arciaga, a graduate at UP has this very straight hair like that of shampoo commercial models. I can't help but think that, "dinaig pa ako ng lolo mo." :]
I already made a friendly friend. Her name's Lariza, a junior BS Psych student.
COMM 140We had a change of profs--from Guioguio to David.
Ms. Clarissa David is an Assistant Prof at UP. She had her Masters at UPD and went to the States for her Ph.D.Well she's pretty. I wish she's cool enough naman. Unlike those other Ph.D. prof na aloof right?!

Okay, so there's my first week. Got lots of readings for the coming week. I already met some of the UPD passers from Monsay. Most of them from Eng'g. Goodluck to all of you. Dont' be afraid to explore the campus, make some friends and enjoy your UP life okay? Am sure it'll be one heck of an experience like what happend to mine. :]

ano daw?! saan na?!
It's the 108th celebration of Independence Day. As usual, there were programs held at various key spots in the country commemorating the said event.
I didn't bother watching the celebration at Quirino Grand Stand with the president. So at least, I was spared of her crappy speech of politicking.
So for some time, my day was doing fine. Not until I heard this news from the radio that this freaking power-grabber Governor from Cavite suggests or plans to make Kawit, Cavite the Historic Capital of the country. Okay, that's bullshit!
First of all, to Maliksi who calls himself the Governor and is so hungry with power he even uses his constituents to make a fool of themselves and "protect" the Municipal Hall, you are so pathetic. Get a life you old man. The place [Cavite] is not yours so stop acting as if you are the sole person for the positon who can run that damn government.
Before I continue, let me first stress that I am not angry with Cavitenos because of their stupid Governor. But I do blame them, and pity them at the same time, for having let a person like Maliksi be their Governor.
Okay so let me state the reasons why I think its a stupid idea making Cavite the Historic Capital thing.
I am really grateful for the field trip we did in my Kas 1 class. I became aware of what really happened to the history of the Philippines, how it became perverted and how some were put to the pedastal when in fact, they didn't do anything worthy at all.
So during this field trip, they (people who must not be named) told us that Emilio Aguinaldo was a traitor. Not only did he negotiated and gave in to the proposals of Spain in exchange of a huge sum of money [went to HongKong], he also re-entered the "limelight" when the proclamation of our independence was fast approaching and declared himself the man for the whole thing. Thus, he became our first 'president.'
They also said that Aguinaldo's thirst for power made him and his team to kill Bonofacio so that they could get him out of their way. It was said that they chopped Bonifacio's body and buried it somewhere in the mountains.
How cruel right?!
Even if our independence was proclaimed at Cavite, it is still not reasonable enough that the place be named the historic capital. There are better places in our country suitable for that name. Let us not let ourselves be blinded by not-so factual events of the past and by people who are so dying to have the power they have dreamt all their lives. Please, let us be reasonable enough.
----------Speaking of heroes, nasaan na ba si Hero?! As in Hero Angeles ha!
Hay Hero, mapalad ka at maisasama kita sa post na ito. Nalulungkot lamang ako sa nangyari sa career mo. No, hindi mo ako fan. Ni isang pagkagusto ay hindi ko naramdaman sa iyo. Nais ko lamang malamn kung ano na ang kinahinatnan mo. Balita ko pakalat-kalat ka sa CFA. May napapa-autograph naman ba sa iyo? Curious lang, wag mo sanang masamain.
Hay Hero, how sad ang buhay natin ano?! Unfair. Hindi bale, parehas naman na kayo ni Sandara na kupas na. Hindi ka nag-iisa Hero, hindi ka nag-iisa.

ganda ng lola mo!
Got my hair done the nearest salon for that "new attitude thing" for the coming sem. It took me some time to decide whether to relax my hair or just color it or just that simple highlights on it. Finally, i have decided to just highlight my hair. First, because it's cheaper and second, because I just want to hide or make an illusion of my white hair being actually brownish or golden.
So here's the before and after; just like what TV shows (like Ambush Makeover) show us at the end of the makeover. Note that the pictures were taken separately.

back to school na naman ang drama ng nation. at siyempre pahuhuli ba sa pagmamaganda ang alma mater kong ramon magsaysay high school espana? of course not.
the OIC ng DepEd went to various schools in metro manila. and she and her group happened to pass by my former hs. how sarcastic pa ang reporter ng GMA 7 na nagsabing "isa itong surprise visit pero may nakahandang banda na nag-welcome sa guests" or some thing like that. basta ang essence gets niyo naman na di ba?
medyo proud naman ako habang pinapakita ang ilang footage ng old school kasi infairness naman, compared sa ibang school malinis at maayos talaga siyang tignan. anyway, ganoon naman talaga ang admin doon eh, once na may bisita, todo linis.
at syempre nagmaganda rin ang principal na si christy. yup, iyon lang ang tawag namin sa kanya. pero syempre samin-samin lang iyon. ganyan kami kabalahura ng mga classmates ko. ayon sabi niya wala naman daw classroon shortage (90% true na rin), at okay naman ang first day ekek...
anyway enrolment na sa wednesday. hahaha can't wait. excited na rin sa PE ko which is weight training. but wait there's more: rpof ko si caces. classmates din kami ni raine. wow! adventure ito!!!
