I used to blog using Xanga but decided to change because of my sister. She told me its easier. Quite true. Anyway, over the past year I was so happy with my blog. I have documented my pre-college (all the registration and stuff) and my college life itself.
I'm looking forward to another year in blogger!

What will I be after I graduate?
This may come out of topic with regards to the things I have been talking about recently. It may sound childish or the like because the question is often asked from a kid.
This topic just crossed my mind after the talk at the CMC Audi. It was our last session for CWTS 1 because next week we are into fieldwork. Oh I can't wait! Going back, I just asked this question to myself after hearing the experiences of some Communication Research graduates. They are very successful in their chosen line of work and I envy them.
Some people end up taking a job that has never even crossed their minds that they will be doing it someday. And I don't wanna be like them. I didn’t study just to end up in some job I didn’t specialize in. That's like wasting my UP education. I’d rather get a low pay than end up somewhere I am not suppose to be in.
I may seem pessimistic and at the same time you may think that I think highly of myself. But that is what I feel. Sorry to say but I really look down on those taking a six-month course and apply for a job abroad after. I don’t even like nursing. But still that’s reality and that’s exactly what is happening now. I can’t change it on my own.
Talking about careers, when I was little I wanted to become a teacher. Maybe it's because my mom's side is a family of teachers -- from my great grandfather up to my cousins up to now. I remember when during my childhood, I have this mini blackboard and I used to gather all my stuff toys or even sometimes my "imaginary friends" and teach them. I would check their assignments and stuff. This is what my brother uses to tease me today.
But then I got tired of being a teacher so I shifter to becoming a Flight Stewardess. I was encouraged because of the high pay and for the reason that they travel a lot. Part of this dream of mine was also because of my dad. He used to travel a lot going to one conference to another here and outside the country. Whenever I see his pictures and hear all his stories I become envious. So back then, I decided that I WANT to be a stewardess.
But there was a problem. Coming from a small family (small as in height), they told me that I will have a problem when it comes to the height requirement. Another problem was that my teeth were in disarray. Due to an accident, I lost my two front teeth and were replaced by two bigger ones. This gave the other teeth a smaller space to grow in. So I ended up discarding this way too high dream of mine.
My third dream job was to be a news anchor or a broadcast journalist. Actually it still comes to my mind especially now that I am in Mass Comm. I was so high with this dream especially when I was in high school and when I became part of the school’s organ. But it somehow lessened when I landed in Comm Res.
But I guess it's a blessing in disguise that I am now in CRes. Not only is the course flexible to any kind of job like research, analysis, project plans, government, arts, etc.
So as of now I want to have a job wherein I can use all the things I have learn and will be learning in CRes. I don't wanna waste all those time I spent in school. But of course what matters is that I enjoy what I am doing. Maybe the pay just comes in second place when you know that you love what you do and learn from it as well.
So there, that's some contemplation for me. Thanks to that talk this morning I learned that what is best is that you have passion for anything you want to do.

miss stupid is out
Kellie Pickler is out.
This is my first time to say something about American Idol. I have been watching it ever since this season started. I don't know why it only crossed my mind only now. Maybe because I was pleased to know Pickler got voted out.
So, at last, that stupid girl is out. How come America realized how pathetic she is just now?! But what matters is that she is gone so I won't hear her stupide comments anymore.
As for the five remaining contestants, well I think they deserve to be where they are now. My bet is Elliot, but I am afraid he will not last in the competition. Either its him or Paris who will be kicked out next week. I am not saying he is not good. As a matter of fact he has a very vocals, its just that I think he will not get enough votes to compete with the others. But I still hope though that he will win.
Paris?! I don't think she will win. As I have said, not enough votes and in the past weeks she's included in the bottom three.
As for Taylor, I am not really sure. He has his group Soul Patrol. But I don't think if their votes will be enough to make him stay in the competition.
So my predicted top two finalists are Katharine and Chris. Their vocals are okay and their performances are good. And this week they got the most number of votes. I think people love them. In Ellen de Generez Show, when they talk about AI, the guests' pick is always Kath. So there, I am so excited who will make it to the finals.
This week the idols performed the classics. During Kat's performance, she had a wardrobe malfunction and her panty was seen. Here is the pic...

quite true. and of course an acquaintance is different from a friend. but well i have some myself but I don't have that amount of friends-slash-acquaintance in my account. its not that i am not friendly or anything, well i just don't feel welcoming all the people i know into my life, or my account that is.
2. If you're ugly stop acting like you don't know it. The captions under you picture that says "top model pose" doesn't convince anybody. at least you can work on your personality.
indeed, i agree. and I hate it when ugly people use Adobe Photoshop on their pictures to improve it, well if its of help. Nyahaha...
3. Don't ever post pictures and say "omg im so ugly" because if you were, you wouldn't post them. please put away the rod and reel cause your just fishin for compliments.
or better yet just end your life if you think you're ugly. nobody wants you on alive anyway...
4. Nobody cares about threats over the internet. Don't try to act hard with the keyboard...that's so sad. unless you actually physically beat someone with the keyboard. then thats ironically hilarious.
i have read cases of this in the friendster bulletin board where a gay was so mad at this person he used the message board to threat that 'person' with nonesense. its actually funny if you have been able to read it. anyway i deleted that gay from my friends so that no more flooding in the BB.
5. If all your pictures look the same...don't post them all! Please put some variety in your pics. Nobody wants to see your face 8 different ways. I don't care if its inverted, black and white, or faded out. a face is a face is a face

yeah the adding of friends thing has been a contest or something in my high school. well of course not from our class. but those in the 'must not be named' sections. let us spare them for their foolishness okay?!
another thing is that some create multiple accounts but have the same set of friends. like whats the use?! freako!!!

what can i say, i was enthralled.
really it was sooo nice. i just can't wait to know what will happen next. i managed to finsih reading the whole book in a couple of days considering that I have classes everyday and that I have to wake up early because I work like a sloth.
anyway, it was really nice. thanks to my blockmate angelo (he's the owner of the book *winks*). he's been so kind to let me have it until the end of summer classes. whee...
okay I posted the old and the new cover of the book. well it was published around 1997. they had a new cover out becasue of the film. so there, thats Zhang Ziyi.
o yeah you might hate me for saying this for it can change your views about the book. well its not a real memoir or theres really no Chiyo-chan/Sayuri. well its a novel and the names and the story were all invented by Golden.
anyway, its a nice read so go and get a copy ang indulge yourself until you go crazy in excitement of what will happen just like what happend to me.

the mannequins
while browsing the net i happen to see the mizuma art gallery's website and got fascinated by the photos of Mario Ambrosius.
i think the shots were really artistic and the concept was one of a kind. wouldn't it be cool if all of us were mannequins? wee!!!
like if we don't want a part of our body we could just take it off and replace it with another. well i think this idea will suit the criminals right?! hehehe...
also, a person can be dismantled and put inside a trunk. well wouldn't that be handy?! i think the kidnappers would thank me for this idea. *winks*
the problem is, we will all be stiff. but well its nice to slap somebody as if you are hitting him with wood. that would really really hurt, won't it?!
of course what i said were all rubbish. but hey look at the pictures, they're so nice right?! i was captivated the first time i saw it. how i wish i could capture amazing shots like these...
i guess i have presented some scheming in my post. won't you criminals thank me for all my bright ideas?

the wrap up...
ayan this time sure na start na ang classes. well enjoy ang first week ng CWTS. cool kasi sa class eh well represented ang lahat ng courses sa CMC so you get to have new acquaintances. tapos meron pang days na all the CWTS classes would gather sa CMC Audi para sa lecture. saya!!!
TUESDAY:getting to know you day. well thank god saved naman kami sa "introduce yourself" infront of the class. sa group lang. pagnagkataon ano naman kayang mga ka-echosan ang sasabihin ko.
Prof. San Pascual introduced us to NSTP. So there very uplifting ang lesson kasi about nationalism. So there were articles na medyo negative and the same time positive na rin ang outlook sa Filipinos.
Get this, two weeks lang tatagal ang lecture kasi after we will be doing field work. saya!!!
WEDNESDAY:well i got company sa LRT. saw Raine, dear blockmate, sa V. Mapa station so ayun may kachit-chatan ako sa LRT. We got our IDs countersigned na rin for the summer and went sa room. but, walang tao. well good thing we were told earlier. imagine if we just stayed there and waited for nothing. classes pala ay held sa Audi.
okay so more of the nationalism thing pa rin ang topic. at ang speaker was a CRes graduate and now a junior sa UP Law. Kakatuwa nga kasi days before, my sister asked me if i know some Emerson Banez na nagtuturo sa CMC. siyemrpe ang sabi ko never heard dahil isa pa alng naman ang nagiging klase ko sa college. so ayun siya pala ang speaker.
I think magiging lecturer ko din siya sa one of my classes sa maskom. he is teaching programming ang web design. wow excited. saya!!!
THURSDAY:film showing day. well we watched "Munting Tinig." grabe sobrang ganda and nakaka-touch ang story. funny kasi whenever may thing na sad or exciting or something na kareact-react, maririnig mo yung iba na talaga nadala sa story. like may scene na namatay ung kid, parang lahat nung nakita na he was part dun sa mga napatay eh napa-awww...
well anu nga ab ang kinalaman ng movie sa NSTP?! service kasi ang topic namin so okay naman at naintindihan naman ang message ng film.
nakakainggit naman maglawn tennis. PE kasi un ni jack eh i went sa tennis court kasis sabay kami pauwi. saya!!!
FRIDAY:balik CMC Audi kami. this time ang mga speakers eh yung mga president ng orgs sa CRes Dept. then isa pang graduating student na si Ivan Picazo. Kaya pala feeling ko familiar iyong name, sabi ko na nga ba i've read his name somewhere eh, sa PDI. I've the ung article niya sa young blood. and it turns out pala na uncle niya si Manolo.
Social service ang topic the whole day. Sayang if alam ko lang na pwede pala kahit experiences mo of service to others even nung high school i would have volunteered.
Kasi when we were asked the day before ang pagkakarinig ko eh currently doing social service, siyempre pass na ako doon so hindi na ako nagpaiwan.
Pero okay na rin na hindi ako nagpresenta kasi it would be too long na tsaka magugulat lang ang mga blockmates ko sa mga pinaggagagawa ko nung HS. Naku baka maiba na ang pagkakakilala nila sa akin, malay ba nila na member ako ng RCY. yikes!!! hehehe...

summer starts
at last start na rin ang summer classes.
pero sad part, hindi pa for CMC. well it turned out that the CMC Administration would be implementing the four day work week. and that means office and class hours are from Tuesdays until Fridays only.
so sobrang excited pa naman ako for the first day. at last im back to school and my allowance is back too. at siyempre to look presentable din sa first day eh nagdamit naman ako ng matino-tino. bat sad to say, lose ang efforts dahil la nga class. ayun nagsi-datingan na kaming mga blockmates at nagchikahan na lang. Angelo, i must say, talbog ako sa pink polo ang purple umbrella mo!!!
anyway after our little talk, we all parted and nagpakalat-kalat na lang sa sangkamunduhan. i decided to get my classcards na rin. so i proceeded to FC. aba aba aba, when i got there, ang nagmamagandang sesinanda ay palakad-lakad at hawak-hawak ang mcfloat niya. so i said ill just accompany her sa math building dahil on the way din ang CS.
at i must say, talagang nagbunga ang efforts namin this sem. well hindi nagkakalayo ang mga GWA namin, WOW!!! CS tau sister!!! yehey!!! so ayun mga lokaloka ulit kami sa daan. sabi ko nga kay ses, ang hirap talagang maging star. kasi ang dami naming nakakasalubong na kakilala. kaway dito, hi doon, chika kaunti diyan...
nung hapon naman, Alpha was suppose to come then we will eat isaw. but unfortunately she didn't bother going anymore because CMC office is close din naman. so everything was moved tomorrow. well thats it, ang first day na hindi talaga first day ng summer classes...

i miss the old days...
well its not that i am not enjoying my life now. its just that i miss my gal pals. of course they are the ones who know me better and we have a lot of things in common. i miss the times when we will all sit and talk about lots of things (especially other people's lives) and laugh until our sides ache (with matching to and fro movement of the torso). :)

summer here i come...
Sa wakas ay enrolled na ako for summer. The only thing I have to do is to wait for the classes to start. Oh I can’t wait!!!
Naku akala ko pa nga hindi ako makakapag-enroll eh. Kasi si Ma’am Almond ang nag-iisang adviser sa department namin. Then when I let her check my form 5A, she was looking for the pre-advising form. Eh I wasn’t able na magpapre-advise. Pano ito?! Good thing Ate Vi said na pwede pa rin naming makuha ang CWTS even if you didn’t pre-advise. So lusot na ako doon, eh paano na sa enrollment for the first semester?! Naku, patay-patay ako pag nagkataon…
I’ve got all my grades na. Well mas okay naman ang results this time compared last sem. Pero hindi naman din ako ganun ka-excited na nakaabot ako sa cut-off ng mga CS. Kasi baka naman sobrang happy ko ngaun magpatiwakal na lang ako kapag next sem biglang nagbago na naman ang takbo ng mga pangyayarin…

i love happy endings...
and they lived happily ever after...
i just finished watching pride and prejudice, not the movie but the series, and i just can't get over it. i really loved the story ever since i have read the book. it was kinda long and i had to consult MW once and a while but it never did and still never bore me.
anyway i watched the film with my sister and it was a bit different from the series, given that it has a limited length and some parts were not that important. but i still love it whatever is removed or change. well i am not a fan okay. *winks*
as for the series, it was of course very much like the book. i think the jennifer ehle, who played elizabeth bennet, is pretty. but the one who played jane, the elder sister and the one who was suppose to be prettier, was not that pretty (well for me) at all. her eyes were too big and she looks like a man. hehehe...
well im into marathons again. well its holy week, i've got nothing to do so why not burn the electricity up all night.

bitter?!
hay naku until now i am still bitter because i wan't able to join my classmates' outing. of course it was really sad kasi i haven't seen them for almost a year. and this, sana, was the only time for me to mingle with them tapos hindi pa natuloy. sad di ba?!
dahil diyan ay kung anu-ano na lang ang naisip kong gawin. first, i cleaned (once more) my room. then kanina, my sister and i made lasanga. well not bad ang lasa, infairness, masarap talaga. medyo palpak nga lang iyong white sauce. dapat kasi mozarella ang cheese. but that's like expensive davah?! so we just put quickmelt cheese. but the sad part, the sauce didn't thicken.
pero all in all masarap naman ang aking first attempt to make lasagna. well ayan, practise time na ito. pero that is kung may funds. medyo costly kasi and paggawa. hehehe...

what have i been doing lately?!
A week from now summer classes is going to start and I just can't wait for that to happen. Well its not that I love studying or anything the like but it’s just that I am so bored when I am at home. I guess I am not a home buddy after all. Besides I need to have my allowance back again and I miss eating UP food.
I am currently reading the compiled chronicles of narnia (I stopped reading Emma by Jane Austen because I was bored). Well I should be done with Narnia fast for my brother's going to return it soon. He told me to just read the parts I haven't read (I have read books 1.3. and 6 way back my elementary days). But I have forgotten all about them. So I’m back from the very beginning.
Well what else, as you can see my blog has a new look. I have uploaded a skin I got from the blogskins. And I have been posting more than once a day (well in some cases only -- when I’m very bored).
I am giving my room a new look too. I have sorted out those readings which will still be useful for the coming years and cleaned the screen on my window.

Memories of... what?!
Here's a movie everyone, (of course, those who were interviewed to have watched it), described to be worthwhile watching and 'pang-international. But if they were to show this to other countries, well I guess they'll have to think again.
Okay, the concept of someone from the past communicating with someone in the present is nice. But for the information of everybody, it was not an original story produced by GMA Films.
Being the 'everyhting korean fan' that I am, I have watch countless movies from Korea and even from other Asian Countries. The story of Moments of Love was very much the same with some korean movies and even a hollywood movie shown a long time ago. this hollywood film I am talking about was entitled '
Somewhere in Time.'
The korean movies I have been talking about were '
Ditto' and '
Il Mare.' I'm not too sure but
Kim Ha-neul and
Yo Ji-tae starred in
Ditto while the
Jeon Ji-hyeon (from Sassy Girl) and
Lee Jeong-jae were the lead cast in
Il Mare. The only difference between the two was that in Ditto, they communicate through HAM Radio while in Il Mare through letters.
FYI: the movie
Il Mare has a
hollywood version with
Sandra Bullock and
Keanu Reeves. But I don't know what happened to it and why until now it's still not being shown. I have heard about this about a year ago and after that I haven't seen even a single promotion or whatsoever.
Another movie I have watched and which was actually shown here the movie of Ken Zhu of F4 and Gigi Leung, this time from Taiwan, entitled
Sky of Love. Well pretty much the same storyline as Ditto.
Okay, so there they are. But as what I have read in the dailies, GMA Films admitted themselves that it wasn't an original story. This was after some of the write-ups which came out from several tabloids questioning GMA's claim that Moments was an extraordinary story. For more info about this article read the today's issue of PDI.

new look!
I have been in front of the computer for some hours now. I really am getting obsessed changing the look of my blog. I really want to learn CSS or HTML to do the stuff myself and not surf the net for others' creations.
Well, I had a hard time adjusting the layout of some of the skins I got. Whatever I do, it won't change. now why is that?!
I think I gonna change the look of my blog again. I really do not like colorgul blogs and prefer dark ones instead. Not being gothic or something, I just want it plain so that the pictures I'll be posting will be emphasized, aight?!

pretending to be an artist
maganda ba? hehe... well, nag-practice lang ng creative powers ko. Well for me nagandahan naman ako.
Pag wala kasi ako magawa or kapag trip ko lang nagdedesign ako ng mga old pics sa Adobe Photoshop. Medyo kaunti pa lang ang alam ko eh although ang tagal tagal ko na siyang ginagamit.
Itong flower nga palang ito ay ang Valentine's gift sa sa akin ni Jack (Siyempre iba pa ung b-day gift ano!). Ganda no?! Naku, mas maganda pa iyan sa personal. Kaso siyempre lantutay na iyan.
ayan ang itsura ng flowerness ko nung kabibigay lang sa akin. Isang malaking long stem na rose from I don't know where. Maybe holland, eh holland tulips kasi iyan eh. shunga!!! hehehe...
