Second film ko na sa MMFF, Mulawin naman this time. hihihi... My sister and I watched this kanina sa Megamall.
Ayos, wala gaanong tao sa mall. Media Noche na kasi mamaya kaya siguro people chose to stay at home na lang. Or gaya nga ng sabi ng sister ko, nasa probinsya pa ang mga jologs.
Pero over naman ata sa konti ang tao. Free seating kasi sa Megamall kaya sa taas na kami. Kaso wala pa ata sa 15 ung tao sa buong sinehan. Either maaga pa masyado or talagang hindi pumatok yung movie.
Maganda ang story. fast paced naman siya. Nasobrahan pa nga ata sa bilis eh. Kaso may times na obvious ung effects. hindi pulido. pero pwede na palagpasin. Basta ang gwapo ni Dennis!

bakit?
kasi after a very long time eh nakalarga ako uliut kasama si ange. Actually dapat beklas ang naandun, kaso nagkagulo-gulo. basta, mahabang kwento. Ang nangyari ako, si angie at si jack.
anyway film fest season once again. Kainis kasi ung feel naming panoorin ay sa Jan 1 pa showing, ung Blue moon. eto pa, while strolling the mall before we buy the tickets, we saw jeff, ronel and mark. Coincidence?!
So dahil ganun na nga ang nangyari, we decided to merge na lang. anyway they're suppose to watch din a movie. Kaso all teh films have started na, so we're down to Ako Legal Wife and Enteng Kabisote 2. both naman na comedy so for me, any of the two will do. So, we ended up sa Enteng Kabisote 2.hehehe...
The movie was fun. Keri na ang mga effects. Although yung story may pagkababaw.

I already bought a copy of xtian's newest album Completely days ago. He's really great, and cute! I love his songs. Ahhhh.... and his pictues too! his album has this photo album effect. its for international release kasi. Most of the songs are in english. Although one's in Filipino, the greenwich theme.
I'll never get tired of playing it over and over. again.

I'm back
At last I am back from my three-day long vacation in Zambales, my mom's hometown. Well everything went perfect during my stay there. Although there were some disappointing news. But all in all, it was the best.
We arrived there noon of the 25th. And here's the sad news, one of my grandma's dogs, White, died days before. He's such a sweet dog pa naman. But I have gotten over that issue already. Well that's life, things come and go.
We went to my aunt's houses to get our xmas gifts. luckily, I still did get presents from them. Yehey!
The next day we went swimming. It's crazy actually. Because it's really cold but well what can I do, my cousins were the one who planned in and I just hopped in.
As usual, I do not know how to swim so I just pretended to be swimming. whaaa!!! There's this picture where I really looked good (I guess). But since we went home today, I wasn't able to get a copy.
I really enjoyed playing with my cousins, nephews and nieces. They're really growing fast that sometimes I just get startled to see how they've grown. In years they could be as tall as I am now. Whoa!

My brother won a magic sing during their office's mardi gras thing. So now, we have TWO.
Last October papa bought a magic sing extreme. Good thing the one my brother got isn't the same as the old one. He won a WOW MS and its better because the songs are quite new (unlike the first).
Anyway, what the difference between an extreme and a wow? the extreme one has sceneries from all-over the world as its backgrounds. wow, on the other hand, has pictures only of the Philippines.

merry christmas everyone!
well i will be away this Christmas. I'll be going to Zambales and spend a three-day long vacation there (I hope that's enough though).
Anyway, any minute now our street will be as wild as it usually is during special occasions. When I went to hear mass a while ago the tables were already set.
I think that's whats nice about our community here. Every special occasion or even if they just felt like doing it, they'd set up the tables and chairs and sing all night long. Every house has there own magic sing. Yipeee!!!
Oh well, so much for that. Lemme go back to my to-be vacation tomorrow. So well, yes, i'll be gone. I'll just tell you guys everything I did when I was away. I hope it'll be fun.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Malas kasi what I have read lang eh books 1,3 and 6. Oh di ba ang weird no. Una ko pang binili diyan book 6 (The Silver Chair). Actually I have read these books way back when I was in elementary kaya na-excite naman ako at may movie na siya. Kasi kahit ung mga stage plays ng Trumpets pinalampas ko rin eh.
Lastly,
Pride and Prejudice. This is my all-time favorite book. I went gaga when I found out about it. I have also watched and read
Sense and Sensibility, pero this one talaga ang gusto ko.

because I wasn't able to bring our cam, I'm posting some screenshots from saksi the other night. as i have mentioned, howie severino was there during the lantern parade and here are some parts of his sidetrip segment in saksi.
okay so ito ang kwento:
*ayan ang Quezon hall. naku perfect talaga ang gabi dahil it didn't rain then bilog na bilog pa ang buwan. napakaganda lalo na kapag pinagmasdan mo na nakaupo sa isa sa mga bench sa acad oval.
*that's Quezon Hall close-up.
*this is during the parade sa tapat ng AS. sobrang dami ng tao at ang hirap makakuha ng nice spot para manood.
*ang tae. ka-join sa Earth part ng Fine Arts.
*ito naman ay isda (i think ha?!). Ka-level ang mga Water creatures again from the college of Fine Arts.
*mga masks. Sa wind division ata.
*next is the... i don't really know kung ano eh. basta ka-join sa masterpieces ng CFA.
*lastly. gabi na yan kaya hindi ko ma-sight ng maayos if what that lantern is.
Anyway iyan ang ilang trivia (chos!) sa nagdaang lantern parade. sana naman next year eh hindi na austerity chuva ang emote para lahat may float. Actually may belen contest naman this year. Pero I have no idea who won. nakakatuwa ung sa CMC. hehehe... naka-display sa lobby namin. :]

perya ever
Dahil wala naman kaming org, we (me and my high school classmates) decided na to have our own exchange gifts. So after na magbunutan nung tuesday, kanina naganap ang pagpapalitan. Sa hindi ko malamang dahilan, the venue was
Paskong Pasiklab. Siyempre that's the one nearest sa peyups. Besides para mag-explore na rin ng ibang places.
Naku ang masasabi ko lang: sobrang lugi ka! Biro mo for that kind of place mapapagastos ka ng sobra! Why?!
Una, may entrance pa sa ganoong uri ng lugar. 30 Php. Sige, fine, pwede pa palagpasin. Pero naman ang isang very cheap na ride costs 30 bucks each. eh sobrang sandali ka lang. hindi pa magiinit ang pwet mo sa pagkakaupo doon eh. Ang masama pa nito, sasakit ang katawan mo kasi hindi man lamang cushioned ung seats. Pero siyempre that's that. Eh perya ever naman ung lugar ano.Siguro gustuhin mo mang sumakay pa sa ibang rides you'd have second thoughts kasi una butas bulsa mo and hindi ka sure kung safe ka.
Naku enough na ang once kong ma-try ang pagpunta sa pasiklab na iyon.
On the other hand,
carry na rin at least we had a mini reaunion-bonding thing. Kaso ung nakabunot sa akin hindi sumipot eh. Pero oks lang. O cia enough na rin dito.

Lantern Parade and Miss Eng'g?
Amazing ang mga lanterns na ginawa ng sangka-UPihan. lalo na siyempre ang Fine Arts. Although austerity churva ang emote ng UP ngaung taon, gumawa parin ang ilang colleges ng lanterns nila.
Swerte siguro kami ni Jack sa mga pwesto at kitangkita ulit namin ang events. Bongga talaga ang works ng Fine Arts. Too bad I wasn't able to bring our camera. Hindi kasi naka-charge ang batteries. sayang.
Well sandali lang naman nagtagal ang buong thingy. So after nun tambay muna kami. Tingin tingin sa mga stalls. Lakad lakad hanggang mapagod. At anong petsa na noon eh wala pa rin sila ses na nagpunta ng SM para bumili ng gift (may exchange gift kasi kami).
after ten years eh dumating na sila. We decided to just watch this event sa College of Engineering, ung Miss Eng'g nila. Dapat kasi we'll watch ung concert which was supposed to be held at the Sunken Garden. But then moved sa Bahay ng Alumni. Kaso baka the siksikan so hindi na lang. Well based na rin un sa naging experience nila nung Freshteeg.
So gora CE na kami. Nakakatuwa naman pala ung event. Puro lalaki ang kasali pero nagdamit babae. Nung nag-start na sobrang napuno na rin ang Eng'g at siksikan sobra! Pero enjoy pa rin kasi bastusan ang nangyari.
Each org kasi na under ng Eng'g eh may representative. Syempre kapag pangit ang sa ibang org, laitan ever na. Sobrang enjoy talaga. San ka pa? andun sina Diego, Pokwang at Mystika. hehehe...
Pero what shocked us the most eh kasali ang isang old schoolmate. Si Milan. Nyahaha.
Pero i didn't stay there that long. I had to go to College of Law kasi my sister was there. May event din sa Malcolm. So sabay kami umuwi. At kaya rin naman ako nakapanood hanggang gabi kasi kasama ko siya pauwi.

Nang mayanig ang AS...
Oblation Run na!
This is one hell of an experience i'll never forget! nakakaloka ang araw na ito. Ang daming first na nangyari sa akin.
But as usual, muntikan ko na namang hindi mapanood ang run. Paano naman kasi, today is the deadline ng paper ko sa PanPil 40. eh I crammed as usual. Besides, I got sick din the other day so I had no time to finish it. And hell, that paper gave me a headache.
Okay so going back,
I got stuck in traffic bandang Katipunan. All the cars of the Ateneo people caused all the traffic. Pero pagkalagpas ng Ateneo eh smooth sailing na. I was so scared pa nga talaga coz I thought I wouldn't make it. I was starting to get pissed kasi I could have reached UP earlier if it wasn't for our printer.
On time naman ako sa run. Mga 15 minutes early. Damn, the whole AS was full. sobrang siksikan sa loob. Buti na lang Jack had a nice place sa may steps so kitang-kita talaga.
Ang daming media people. Andun pa si
Howie Severino ng GMA. Ang cool grabe. And I even saw
Sid Lucero there. Even students from other schools came. At ang nakakaloka pa, may mga ma-jonderbelles (matatanda) pang andun. Grabe ha hindi talaga paaawat.
Sa sobrang pagka-excite ng mga katauhan eh
ang daming false alarm. Manggagaling kasi sila sa Quezon Hall. Dun nga daw may dalawang girl na sumali sa run eh. Pero ayun dumating na sila sa AS at nagsimula na rin. Siyempre panu mo malalaman, sobrang lakas ng mga tili galing sa lobby!
Sa totoo lang un ang pinaka hindi ko na-gets sa mga tao. Bakit kelangan magtilian? sobrang sabik ba na kapag nakita mo eh mapapatili ka talaga?! Ewan ko, ako kasi tawa ng tawa nung nakita ko na eh.
Nagulat ako sa itsura. Hindi ko inexpect na ganun pala un. Kaloka!So ayun matapos nilang magsisigaw ng patalsikin si GMA sa steps, balik na sila sa loob. We thought tapos na ang lahat so we got out of the building na to look for our classmates.
But wait there's more! Hala minutes later, andun ang mga kalalakihan sa right wing, sige pa rin sa pagtakbo! So kami naman, takbo rin agad sa loob. pero
hindi ko carry ang sobrang body contact sa loob kaya nung dumaan ulit, torso na lang ang nakita ko.
Grabe kakaibang experience. Sayang nga lang si Ses, hindi niya napanood. Naghihintay pa kasi ng kasama eh. Di bale, may 4 years pa naman siya sa UP! nyahaha!

PASQ na sa UP
CHRISTMAS IS ALL OVER UP!
at last, ang most awaited week ko this december sa university ay nagstart na. but i didn't expect na ang event na ito will start in a disaster.
I used to go to school through the service of my father. But now that he won't be working anymore, I have to go to school by public transport. So monday, I went to school using the LRT-Katipunan route. I was confident I'd arrive on time so I left our house an hour before my class. Pero, eto na, pagdating ng Balara, damn, it was super traffic. The whole acad oval was closed para sa mga tiangge. So tendency, limited ang space inside UP, the other vehicles pati nga ikot jeeps needed to pass through Balara area. Kaya ayun, so traffic.
But I still had time pa naman so I didn't panic. I'm lucky the jeep got inside the campus pa. But come ilangilang res hall, the driver asked us to go down. So I walked a whole block to get to mass comm for my comm 100 class. I thought I was late na. But there were only few people inside the room. Others, like my blockmate, walked from Balara to Plaridel Hall. Whoah! sobrang layo!
After my class I got to see the booths installed around the oval. ung iba wala pa gaano tinda kasi start pa lang. But excited na ako for the coming events. Can't wait!

enough of sam milby
i am so sick of sam milby's face.
he's face is everywhere. argh... i hate it. he is not handsome so just stop it.
i automatically read the newspaper whenever i wake up. and what just ruined my day was this whole page of sam's freaking face endorsing bench. oh god, of all faces!
and then going through the entertainment page, there's this hotdog brand advertisement which seems to have sam as its endorser. there's this teaser pa na watch out if who's gonna be the model. eh its very obvious naman. why? because the name of the hotdog is sam. davah! but i must say, it can also be sam concepcion. how i wish it would just be the latter.
oh just stop it!!! the moment he got evicted he's everywhere. the annoying evicted housemates are everywhere. enough!
he is singing in every show possible, next, he's doing advertisements, and what's worse, a movie. wahhhh!!!
wala na bang ibang artista ang dos at puro pbb housemates na lang ang pinagkakakitaan nila?!

i suck in bowling
I admit, I need tons of practice. My, I am so poor when it comes to bowling. I really need to work hard or else I’d flunk my PE.
Of course I’m not the only one to blame. The bowling alley is dilapidated that some of the lanes have sakit as my prof describes. Others are not smooth, some just constantly makes the ball go to the gutter.
Thank god the game today is not recorded so I still have the whole Christmas break to practice. Time to use those tickets for a cheap bowling game in SM.

boys and girls week
The annual Boys and Girls Week begins today.
Once again student leaders from various schools in Manila gather for one whole week to experience a city official’s work.
I am very grateful to have been given the chance to experience this myself. And lucky for me, I had the privileged of enjoying it twice—when I was in my third and fourth year in high school.
Although I missed classes (which I always do), there are reasons why I’d love to do this thing again.
First, I get to bond with other students from both public and private schools in Manila. Some of them I still do meet sometimes along the AS lobby or anywhere else in UP.
Second, there’s always food served. Yes, the city government pampered us pretty well. There’ll be food every two hours. So even if you are not hungry, you had no choice but to eat.
Third, you meet and mingle with city officials like the mayor and councilors. But I guess I wasn’t that lucky in having sensible counterparts. (naku, libel ito! Hehehe)
Of course there’s the always the feeling of pride to have been chosen as one of the lucky few and to have represented my school.
But sadly my turn ended. Others have to experience the feeling to. So congratulations to MINA PEARL for being chosen as VICE MAYOR in this year’s BnG week.
Because I miss my HS days, here are some pics (proof) during my time as councilor of the 4th district of Manila.

the countdown begins
december starts and i can't wait for christmas.
Actually there are plenty of reasons why i am so anxious for December to begin.
first, there are various activities in UP such as the oblation run and the lantern parade. These events are annual activities in the university. And because i am a freshie, it would be my first to experience the said events myself. I can't wait.
second, the christmas break. yes, after the sembreak i am excited to have a break from schoolwork again. its not that i am so busy with my studies but because i am not getting enough sleep. so xmas break means sleep sleep sleep.
third, the presents and food. this is my favorite part. i get to do my shopping stuff and eat lots of food. now i am imagining that juicy ham. yummm...
