naFUNKpanahon e2

Bye bye my modern jazz class.

Yesterday was the dance recital and also the last day of my mj class. In the morning we just practiced the dance to the tune of September. The theme of the event is about the 80’s kasi.

Grabe! I was super exhausted after the practice and have drunk tons of C2. Reg and I went to the AS Tiangge to buy a colorful band. We decided to be bratinellas because the headband should match the color of your shirt. But we preferred not to. Hehehe… My shirt was yellow and bought a pink one and hers was purple but bought a mint green band.

The call time was 5pm and when we got there the other classes were already practicing. Grabe, this is it!

Good thing the program started on time. So our class just stayed on a corner to practice and dress up while waiting for our turn. We were the tenth to perform.

Oh and makeup! Wahh… when will I learn to put on an eye shadow! Well ate michelle, our student teacher, was the one who did my eyes. Heheh… ponkan na ponkan!

Before us the Hotlegs performed. They were not complete though. There were only six of them. Then the class Prof. Pereña handles, advance jazz I think, danced Fame. Then… us!

This is it na talaga. Well our performance went out fine. Although some, did make mistakes.

It was already late when the program ended. Good thing Jack accompanied me. And because I was too exhausted na naman after the dance, I bought this super big mineral water. Pero hidni ko naman naubos.

I never felt any better. It has been months since I last performed in front of many people. I really love dancing. The satisfaction it gives me is something hard for me to describe. That is why up to now I still have September playing in my head and me having a vivid view of that memorable night.

UAAP Cheerdance Tilt

4-peat na ang Tigers!

Huhuhu…

But on the other hand, it’s okay. Well there’s still next year and besides UP did their best.

Kudos to the UP Pep Squad for securing the second place!

The whole Araneta was jam packed during the 68th UAAP Cheerdance Competition. I was required to watch the event for my modern jazz class. And I was really very lucky to have avoided the pain of falling in line for hours just to fail in getting a ticket. Hehehe…

The CHK Admin Office started selling the tickets last Tuesday. Thank God we were able to get the tickets even if they’re just GenAd ones. Jack, who bought the tickets for our group, was the last LUCKY one to buy the remaining tickets. We needed 10 but got only 8. So angie and cris weren’t able to come.

Last Wednesday we attended the general rehearsal after our modern jazz practice at the vanguard. It was my first time to go there and my classmates and I all agreed that the place looked like the province. The place is deserted like somewhere where kidnappers would likely hide their victims. You should have seen the CR where Reg said that girls get raped in their. Hahaha…

Jack and I arrived just in time before the competition started. We were lucky to find Ses, Alpha, Mark, Joseph and Lop. Ses, Alpha and Mark were the only ones seated. There’s no place for us to sit anymore so we just stood at the very end. But we can still see a good view of the floor.

Every break we would sit on the floor to rest for a while. All the teams were good although we only had a view of their backs. The schools were color coordinated except UP. But most of the students, like us, wore their UP shirts. Well actually that was our agreement but Ses was the odd one out.

So here are the top three:

1st—UST

2nd—UP

3rd—FEU

I was very happy ‘coz I got to see my classmates again expecially Alpha. Well after that we ate somewhere and went on our separate ways.

Now I only have to worry what the hell I’m gonna put on my paper due on Monday. :]

P.S.

Thanks for the roses.

monsay meets ponjaps
The topic of this post is a bit out-of-date. It happened last March and around those days I still used my Xanga account. Anyway, Alpha texted me and told me that the pictures taken when the students from Japan went to our school can be found in the internet. Well she told me she’ll post the pics but to save myself from the pain of waiting for years *__* I just did it myself. Well one day with nothing to do I just thought of getting the damn pictures myself so as not to frustrate myself any longer. Hehehe…

Well I’ll try to remember the things we did when students from Ikeda University visited our school last March 12. The visit was in connection with the UNESCO thing (can’t really remember). That day was actually our final exams when Ma’am Cruz went to our room to tell us that visitors will be coming and an audience will be needed for their presentation and welcome them as well. So that’s how it all started.

Friday

time is ticking too fast without me noticing it

at syempre, dami na laman ng coconut ko. kasi hindi lahat ng tinuturo ng prof tungkol sa course itself, nandiyan na rin ang iba pang bagay na if you come to think of it eh essential na malaman ng isang iskolar. the best thing pa dito eh we don't rely on books all the time. readings will do. tipong photocopied. you'll also be the one to look for it sa library ha. matututo ka talaga maging maabilidad.

library
mababaw talaga ako. hehehe... i confess, sobrang saya ko talaga if i see my former high school classmates sa library. at least kahit for a short period of tym na we sit there, all in one table, eh we become updated about our condition tungkol sa studies at college lyf. its a very small world nga kasi sometimes ung classmates ko sa iba kong subjects eh classmates din pala nila. kaya at least we share a common friend para konek-konek ang mga bagay-bagay.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
me and ses. oh nakalugay ako diyan. hehehe... for a change. pero diyan lang. kapag sa skul ponytailed pa rin hair ko. wait na lang kapag ala na ako pe, kakabogin ko kau!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
okay kami ulit. sobrang perfect kasi ng mga shots eh. hehehe... very natural ang beauty namin. actually haggard pa kami niyan eh! maulan kasi that time. hehehe...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
