pinoy big bro-duh!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

"ang teleserye ng totoong buhay"

well sinong niloko nila? how can this "show" be the 'teleserye ng totoong buhay' if the whole thing is a crap.
why? lemme give you the reasons...

first, the hosts. duh! like tony is so so annoying. isn't it too much that we see her stupid face daily around noon and to add to the burden, put her too in this "show?" please, please, please... she's not good okay. let's face that. why on earth is ABSCBN making her such a big star. well for the other two hosts, i dont give a damn. hehehe...

second, the contestants. if that's the reality show of the masa, why put there good looking guys and gals. of course not all good looking, but still they're not the 'typical pinoy.' they should have there like slobs, fat fat ugly looking guys/gals (racquel included) or maybe dirty old hags racquel also a possibility). that would have made the "show" more interesting. well all i can see are flirts and men trying to project the macho image. like, its just the third day and there were already love interests... man, that's shit! enough is enough!!!

third, the tasks. the activities are boring. they're like dumb people dancing, doing ritual stuff and NONSENSICAL things! can't they think of anything cool to do (although some were, but most of them... nah, all crap!). lame people. lame production, lame show!

lastly, the sharing moments. its soo funny. after every task the dumb people would evaluate their work. another thing is inside the room where big brother would ask things, any moments later, you'll see one of the housemates already crying. oh please, come on!

the concept of having these 12 people locked up in this house is cool. of course the show's adapted from big brother of US. but ABS could have done better. they should have put there 'true people' and not pretentious ones we now see.

for the sake of awareness
The following is an forwarded message from my prof in socsci 2 yesterday. actually ala namang special bat niya pi-nost at sa dahilang ako din. well gusto ko lang na maging aware din kau that's why im posting this. nyway, try to vote if you want...

Did you know that the Philippines' coconut geotextile ( a.k.a. coconet)for soil erosion control has been chosen as one of the 12 finalists in Newsweek and BBC's (British Broadcasting Corporation)World's World Challenge?

The World Challenge is basically a competition/search designed at identifying groups or individuals all over the world whose projects have contributed great impact at grass roots level.

A documentary about Philippine Coconut geotextile or coconet industry will be shown on the BBC World cable channel on September 24 around 8:30GMT and will also be featured in the August 29 special issue of Newsweek.

"The World Challenge" already offers a tremendous exposure and publicity to our flourishing Philippine coconut geotextile industry and to our Philippinecoconut fiber exporters. But it would be great liberation for our country, which has been getting very bad publicity nowadays, to win this prestigious competition.

To vote, please open http://www.theworldchallenge.co.uk and click the picture of Philippine coconet.

adventure ito ateh!
grabe! it was one heck of an experience. although i am so embarrassed it happened, i never regretted it. why? aba, few people lang makakagawa nun ano.

well what on earth am i talking about? it was my first ever field trip now that i'm in college. and the thing is: i was late, late by like 10 minutes. my classmate called me that the bus is already leaving, and i was like in katipunan ave. already. good thing the buses passed by katipunan so i had an idea of where to go.

there was also this girl with me whom i won't be mentioning for she was very lucky she found me but just gave me a pain in the ass. she wasn't that much of help, and the shitiest part is that she is too noisy.

okay, so we hired a cab and asked the manong driver to follow the bus. god, it was one hell of a ride. manong was really fast, yet he's still very cool. as if he owned the road. while we were in the cab i was talking to my classmate on the phone, keeping track of each other. i told her to asked the organizers if they could stop the bus for a while but they won't. arghh...

so around libis na when we caught up with the bus. and thank goodness, traffic light was at a stop. so we just paid manong driver quickly and boarded bus #2, to be exact.

my classmates all clapped and cheered when we got in. those assholes. hehehe... nyway it was really fun. another classmate of mine was late and she just followed when we were already in cavite.

and about the whole field trip thing, well it was boring. but, infairness, i really learned something about our history, our perverted history.

the field trip was more of a bonding activity for our class. we were so noisy in the bus, especially our group, those who sat at the very end. hehehe... actually there where only 5 seats but we were 7 there. like sardines. hehehe... but it was really fun. again i became one of the boys.

well kakaibang adventure talaga ito. something only few, i think, will dare to do. if you were in my situation, what will you do?

Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros

Two words: worth it!

Grabe ang ganda talaga. Its so funny, kikay, everything rolled into one. I love it! Sobra!

Well my English 10 prof required us to watch Ang pagdadalaga or Mga Pusang Gala. But she prefers this one.

Because I remembered my friend Angelica who is dying to watch this film, I immediately asked her if she wanted to come. So it was decided, we would go together. We were suppose to meet 12nn sa España, but as usual she came late, mga 12:30pm na. Hehehe… kahit naman ako eh.

But it was one heck of a ride, we arrived at UPFI around 1pm. At my god ang inaakalang 50 pesos na ticket eh 100 pala. So we have no choice naman.

Eh it was suppose to start nga ng ganoong time.

It was super funny talaga. Well there’s always a next time.

Sabi ng sis ko he’s not gay naman in real life. Pero nung na-sight ko siya, I think he is.

For you guys to have an idea about the film, here’s the blurb of the film. I got it from the net…

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The purity of first love is pitted against the squalor and corruption found in the slums of Manila. Gay, pre-teen Maxi is Slavisly and uncomplainingly devoted to his family of small-time criminals. He cleans house for them, washes their underwear, mends their tattered jeans, and if push comes to shove, covers their tracks to themso they wouldn't get caught. His world revolves around them. That is, until he meets Victor, a principled, idealistic and handsome policeman. maxi befriends Victor, who, inspiring the boy to hope for a better life, earns ire of Maxi's family.

tsinelas
Ang pagsusuot ng tsinelas sa UP ay in. Ang weird nga eh, di ba ang stereotype ng isang college student ay nakauniform, meaning, skirts and high heels for gals and pormang bangkay for the guys. Hehehe…

Pero kakaiba talaga kapag sa peyups. San ka nga naman nakakkita ng isang eskwelahan na parang ang isang napakalakang park, and not just an ordinary park like those in the movies, Luneta park—sa part ng mga squatters. Hehehe…

Sassy Belladonna is a Pair of Flat Sandals

Casual yet flirty

You look great in a simple top and jeans

Your look is approchable and cute!

What Kind of Sandal Are You? Take This Quiz :-)

o di ba, UPing UP.

They’re all the same-- foot protection.

back to zero

Holy shit! Now, my blogger is back to zero. Well, all of the added stuff in my sidebar are gone. Whats worse, I can’t even log in to unkymood.com for ‘the’ much awaited mood of the day. My counter is also gone. And im also having troubles connecting to the domain. I HATE IT!

Because everything will be (I hope) back soon, I might as well change the theme of my blog. Well I have my friendster blog where I usually post things nowadays. But its boring there. I can’t even post my picture, although it has that add pic thing, because it’ll take me years to insert a photo, besides, it’s a one at a time thing, so hassle-full. Unlike if I just use photobucket. That’ll be so much easier.

smile

I downloaded this song without a single idea if whats it all 'bout. i find it very nice, so now im posting the lyrics...

SMILE
by Tamia

Sometimes i sit at home and wonder how it be if he had loved me
truely loved me yes,
i learned awhile ago that kind of thing
it never happens for me,
and so i go around and just pretend
love is not for me
i play the circus clown around my friends
make them laugh and they wont see
that U never let them see u sweat
dont want them to think
the pain runs deep,
Lord know its killing me

[Chorus:]
So i put on my make up
put a smile on my face
and if anyone ask me everything is ok
im laughing cuz no one knows the joke is on me
cuz im dyin inside with my pride and a smile on my face...
on my face singing, la la la, la la, lalala, la la, la la, la la, la la, la la, la la la

Sometimes i sit at home
by the phone
hopin he might call me
but he dont call me
but then i Realize
dreams come true arent for girls like me not like me,
and so i go around with my head Up
like it aint no thing
and when the boys around with all my friends
im into other things
cuz U never let them see u sweat
dont want them to think
the pain runs deep,
lord knows its killing me

[Chorus:]
So i put on my make up
put a smile on my face
and if anyone ask me everything is ok
im laughing cuz no one knows the joke is on me
cuz im dyin inside with my pride and a smile on my face...
on my face oooh

Its not easy (thing to do)
sometimes its hard to (face the truth)
its not the life that iWould choose
but what else can i do
if he dont love me no
if he dont want me
im not about to sit around
let myself go (gooooo)

Laaaa ill keep singing la la la la la, lalala, la la, la la, la la, la la, la la, la la la

digital film festival

it was mah first tym... and i was really really excited... hehehe...

my sister and I went to megamall early last sunday to watch the digital film festival 2005 cinema one originals...

we watched ANG ANAK NI BROCKA... well it was too cheesy... as in... we should have watched another film if we knew it would be so f*ng boring... hehehe... actually the story was nice, but the cinematography sucks... we heard 2 people who also watched the movie say "ohh... this is too much!" while leaving the cinema...

okay here are the gist of the six films included in the festival:

ANG ANAK NI BROCKA
A group of investigative journalists accidentally score a controversial scoop when they find a twenty-year old boy claiming to be the son of the late famous director Lino Brocka.

SANDALANG BAHAY
The story revolves around the dramatic and sometimes humurous intertwining live of three SAndalang sisters. The film deals with facing one's past and owning up to the truth that resides in the bleakest corner of the soul.

SITAK
Jack is fired from his job of 20 years which prompts him to contemplate on suicide. He chances upon a cab driver whose stories encourage him to go behind the wheel and face the probable dangers that come with it.

DILIM
An action thriller starring Rica Peralejo. Dilim is an enigmatic creature that roams the streets at nicht and does vigilante work, saving innocent victims by literally devouring the villains.

ANAK NG TINAPA
Two crooked cops get a kick out of framing up hapless people by planting illegeal drugs on them. Unknown to them, a group of ambitious student filmmakers is watching and documenting their very move.

SA NORTH DIVERSION ROAD
A movie showing ten scenes, each involving a man and a woman in bantam car travelling along the North Diversion Road. The recurring theme: infedelity of the man.

okay... ayan na... hindi nga pala ako ang gumawa ng mga blurb niyan ha... i just copied it from the flyer given to us when we went there

given the chance,id rather watch Sa North Diversion Road... ang cute kasi ng preview niya eh... but sad to say, two days lang ung festival, kasi special event lang siya... although it will also be shown sa UP film center. but of course, that would be late na, eh i have to commute pa naman.

<>naku these past days nahihilig ako na manood ng kung anu-ano... am i turning into a film buff?!
